Moved out of the area but glad I'm back!! Great burgers perfectly cooked! Didn't eat in got take out so haven't been inside in years but I'm sure it's still fun. So glad I'm back! Service has always been great. Will be back
Excellent servers and bartenders. Went to a repast there and it was very nice. Well run and organized. Very good price point too. If your looking to hold an event give them a call.

Yasbsolutely! Like walking into 30 years ago- good vibes good people - dated but in a way that you don't mind. Great for American comfort food and beer. Maybe good for other stuff but I stuck with the former :-)
Great food and friendly staff in a local setting. Cold beer is available and there is a nice selection on tap from IPA to lager. Wine is also available. Phenomenal soups! I recommend the chicken tortilla and Manhattan clam whenever it is on special. There are daily specials aside from the regular menu usually,so there is always something good to eat!
Coming in on Saturday evening on Labor Day weekend, I wasn't sure what to expect. But it wasn't very busy and there was plenty of parking. You walk in and the ambience is intimate and dark but still friendly. We were seated immediately and we were taken care of right away. I had the Swiss mushroom burger and it was definitely one of the better ones I've had! Really good mushrooms and good burger patty. My friend had the bacon cheeseburger without the cheese and he also said it was pretty good. Overall the prices were right, it was a good place for a good burger which is what I was craving, and I would definitely return! Would want to sample some of their other food. One of the things I enjoy most about coming to New Jersey is going to all the different diners and pubs and just enjoying what they have. I have lived all over the US and I feel like this is one of the easiest places to get a good and cheap meal without too much hassle and not having to do fast food.
Whether you live in Cedar Grove or a local 15 minutes away this is the go to spot for a relaxed and easy dinner night. Always a great experience with the servers, always great options and the prices are extremely great considering the quality that you get. A go to for us in general but we love to bring people from out of town here! We love the wings and plate of fries for a easy food fix plus great beer selections. Shoutout to Sam there who is one of our favorite servers!!!
So this place is 'old school' local sports bar/pub. A blast from the past. Pull up a chair next to the locals and knock back a brewski...... Food is basic pub fare, tasty and well priced. They have a fun Happy Hour on Sunday during football games. Everyone that works here seem to have been employed here for several decades. Some of the servers and bartenders have real life attitudes but it makes the time here quite entertaining. If you are looking for a 'time travel' experience along with somebody busting your chops, this is the real deal. Check it out!!!
